Bachelor in Pharmacy
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) is a 4 year annual system program aiming to produce nationally & internationally competent pharmaceutical professionals.
Objectives
- To maintain professional dignity and respect
- To demonstrate broad understanding of the scientific basis of the specialty of pharmacy
- To Integrate and apply the skill and knowledge in practice creatively as per requirement in various pharmacy related areas confidently
- To appraise critically the national legislation on drug and related field , National Health Policy and National Drug Policy and other regulations related to pharmacy in the context total health care system of Nepal
- To develop the leadership for collaborative research projects.
- To recognize and promote alternative perspectives in the effective utilization of natural resources available within the country
- To demonstrate competence in searching, handing and integrating information and applying knowledge, skills and attitudes in professional problem solving.
MMIHS will strictly follow the rules and regulations of the University and Medical Education Commission. The candidate must have I. Sc. or 10+2 degree securing at least 50% marks in aggregate or GPA 2.4 with major subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology or equivalent; or diploma in pharmacy with registration in respective council. Besides, the basic academic requirement, the students should be qualified on the entrance examination taken by Medical Education Commission to enroll in the program.
