MMIHS successfully conducted a Respiratory Devices Training program in collaboration with Cipla Limited, India, with the initiation of the Manmohan Pharmacy Students Association (MPSA) supported by MMIHS Alumni and MMIHS Student Quality Circle (SQC). The program was comprehensive and aimed at enhancing the clinical competence of Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Pharmacy 4th year students for care of patients with respiratory illness . Expert facilitators from Cipla, Phr. Madhusudhan Ghimire, Ms. Nisha Magar, and Ms. Sarita Magar provided live demonstrations, hands-on practice sessions, and interactive discussionsto impart both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for handling respiratory devices to the students. The training covered the proper use of devices such as the Rotahaler, Rotacap, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Spacer, and Spirometer. The event concluded with a Token of Love to the Expert facilitators of Cipla Limited and a certificate distribution ceremony, where participants expressed appreciation for the opportunity to receive respiratory devices handling training. This collaboration between MPSA and Cipla marks another step towards strengthening health professional education and bridging the gap between class room theory and real clinical practice.
